How to report a false-positives block in MailChannels

2MHost uses Mailchannels to filter and deliver outbound email. Sometimes Mailchannel can mark your legitimate messages as spam and block your email by mistake. In this case, you can report a false-positive direct to Mailchannel. Please follow this steps:

⚠️Before reporting, make sure to review the error message to be sure that the email was not blocked for valid reasons like if your recipient address mailbox is full or does not exist..

1. Check the bounced back email:

Open the bounced back message which will include an error message like this:

testing@gmail.com
host smtp.mailchannels.net [55.188.79.198]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 5.7.1 [CS] Message blocked. If this is a false positive, please report this to your hosting service provider. See https://console.mailchannels.net/insights/bounce?auid=2mhost&sender=example%40example.com&txid=2b89ad3cc26531b13

In this case, the error is 550 5.7.1 [CS] that means the message bounced back because Mailchannel thought it contains spam.

2.Get the insight link:

In the error message, look for the mail channel insight link, it start with https://console.mailchannels.net/insights/bounce?...

and open the link in your browser.

3.Mark the mail as "not spam"

In the browser, Click the Not Spam button to report the message as a false positive. A pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm your report.

Please note that reporting an email as a false positive does not automatically resend it. You will need to manually resend the bounced email, Please allow some time and try again to resend the email.

Please Contact us if your email is still bounce back after reporting the false-positive with the original message and the bounced message.
